Passing jamb has been difficult to some students. I feel it boils down to poor preparation to jamb utme exams. This gives rise to the question, how exactly can I prepare well for jamb? it’s very easy easy, all you need is to have the right materials needed to pass jamb.

1. Jamb recommended textbooks

There are lots of good textbooks out there that can be used to pass jamb utme exam. However, it’s good to get the jamb recommended textbooks first and add other books for assistance. 2. Jotter

Jotter Is a very important material in the preparation for jamb utme. As you read, it’s advisable to always jot important points down, hence the jotter. If you’ve not gotten one, I’ll advise you get one as you’re getting the jamb recommended textbooks.

3. Notebooks

This might sound surprising to some students. Like why will you need notebooks when you’ve already gotten a jotter to prepare for jamb? Well, as the names of the materials differ, so does their purpose. While you jot things down with your jotter, you need your notebooks to take down long notes you might want to refer to another time. Also, it’s important you attend a good jamb lecture house. That’s another good reason why you need a notebook.

4. Rough notes

Why all the notes? That’s the question popping in some jambites mind. Well, you definitely need a rough note for preparation. You don’t want to mess up your jotter and notebook when you are trying to calculate something difficult.

 

5. Pen and pencils

This is another very important material people neglect while preparing for Jamb. We all know that pen and pencils are not reliable when studying. Hence the need to have more than one with you so you won’t distract yourself by leaving where you are to get another one.

 

6. Jamb syllabus

Without jamb syllabus, sorry to say this, but you’ll be reading aimlessly. This makes it a very important material for jamb preparation. It contains all the topics/areas you need to cover when preparing for Jamb. I’ve already compiled the jamb syllabus for all jamb subjects. See it below.

7. Time

Time here is talking about allocating proper time for your studies. Don’t waste your time prioritising other things when preparing for jamb. Invest most of your time studying for jamb.

8. Calculator

It’s a very important material, especially for science students. But I’ll advise you use a simple calculator. Using an advance calculator will do you more harm than good. But if you are strong enough, it’s best you prepare for jamb without a calculator. Reasons being that jamb might choose not to provide calculators. Even if they do, it won’t be an advanced calculator.

9. Chair and table

Without mentioning this, I believe any sane student will need a chair and table to read and prepare for jamb. It’s good to be comfortable when studying for jamb. Chair and table happen to provide that comfort during preparations for jamb exams.

 

10. Your brain

Though not a material, but I needed to mention it. Without your brain, every other material is needed. You need to be focused when preparing for jamb and shone away distractions. This can only occur when you use your brain and not your heart. Peace be with you all.
