Steps taken to do UNIBEN inter-faculty transfer

1.     You must have completed your 100 level (or 200 level for some department):

Before going ahead to be eligible for UNIBEN inter faculty transfer, you must have at least completed 100level in your present department and 300 for some {pharmacy to be precised}. Mind you, this transfer is not limited to 200level and 300level students only. You are free to transfer even in your final year. This doesn’t mean you’ll get transferred to the final year class of your new level. Rather you’ll start from 200 level in the new department.

2.   Have you money ready

Though the process is an easy one and the outcome is almost always a positive one, the financial aspect is on the high side. The price tag of UNIBEN inter-faculty form is known to always increase from time to time. As at the time of writing this article, the price for getting UNIBEN inter-faculty transfer form is #100,000. Be sure this is something you want to do before embarking on the process.

3.   Pay for transfer form:

After you must have made up your mind to pay for UNIBEN transfer, you’ll walk down to UNIBEN bursary to pay the allocated price. This should be done only when you see the secular that UNIBEN inter faculty transfer is on. Anything other than that, keep your money safe. This is to help you avoid falling in the hands of scammers. After payment, you’ll be given a payment receipt. Then, you’ll take this receipt to back of bursary to collect UNIBEN inter faculty transfer receipt.

5.    Fill form and submit:

6.   Wait till the transfer list is out:

This is actually not stressful. Just start attending classes for your new department as long as you’ve yielded to these warnings. You’ll have to continually visit UNIBEN exams and record office to check if the list is out.

7.    Collect transfer letter and submit different copies to stipulated offices:

After seeing your name in the transfer list, all you need to do is to collect your transfer letter from same exams and records. The forms given to you are allocated to different offices. You’ll be told where you are to submit these forms to.

8.   You are officially welcome to your new department.
