3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons lemon zest
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup fresh blueberries

- Mix the butter and sugars in a bowl until creamy and fluffy.
- Stir in the eggs, one by one, then add the lemon juice, buttermilk and lemon zest.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt, followed by the fresh blueberries.
- Spoon the batter in a 10-inch round cake pan lined with baking paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 350F for 40-45 minutes or until the cake is well risen and golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
