UNIPORT Releases Notice on Resumption for Staff

UNIPORT Resumption notice for staff has been announced. See UNIPORT resumption date below.

Management of the University of Port-Harcourt has issued a circular letter notifying staff on Resumption and compliance to Covid-19 prevention protocols. See announcement below;

Further to the approval of the Federal Government in respect of resumption of duties, the University Management hereby directs as follows:

1. Staff on CONTISS 11 (or its equivalent) and below should resume duties every working day (Monday to Friday) with effect from Monday, 19th October, 2020. The staff are to be in the office by 8.00 a.m. and close by 4.00 p.m. daily;
2. In resuming work daily, staff are to fully comply with the University of Port Harcourt COVID-19 Guideline/Protocol for the University Community, which is in line with the Guideline of the Nigeria Centre for Diseuse Control (NCDC), This includes maintenance of physical distancing. regular washing and/or sanitising of hands and wearing of face masks. (please see attached);
3. Staff would not be allowed into the campus and offices without wearing of face mask; and
4. Staff should avoid overcrowding. Please the above information is for the compliance of all Staff.
