(iii) BINGHAM, AJAYI and AAU require ‘A’ Level pass in Accounts, accept ND in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Business Management. For Business Administration, AJAYI accepts ‘A’ Level or equivalents in Economics and one(1) of Business Management, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography and Government plus ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics
(iv) CUAB requires
(a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes to include Mathematics and either Economics or Account.
(b) IJMB at acceptable grades.
(c) NCE credit, ND lower credit, and approved equivalent of may be admitted to the appropriate level.
(v) JOS accepts
a. two (2) Principal and one(1) subsidiary pass in any of the following subjects: Principles of Accounts, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Government and Commerce. In addition to the IJMB/’A’ Level, candidates should have credit passes in three (3) UTME subjects as per ‘O’ Level requirements other than the ones obtained at IJMB/’A’ Level.
b. i. Candidates must have completed from a recognised institution with a minimum of lower credit in any of the following programmes of studies: Business Administration, Accounting, Accounting/Auditing, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Actuarial Science/Insurance, Secretarial Administration, Office Management, Psychology, Public Business Studies, Administration, Catering and Hotel Management and Statistics, Financial Studies.
ii. In addition, HND candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in ‘O’ Level subjects as inUTME requirements.
c. In addition to ‘O’ Level requirements as in A above, candidates must have merit in any of the following: Business Education, Mathematics/Economics, Geography/Economics, Secretarial Studies, Financial Studies.
d. In addition to the UTME requirement, candidates must pass any of the following professional courses. I.C.A.N, CI.B., A.C.I.S., A.C.C.A., N.I.M. and C.M.A. Institute of Certified Public Accounting of Nigeria.
(vi) LASU accepts
a. ND/HND not admissible for Direct Entry.
b. For Public Administration, two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography and Statistics.
c. For Marketing and Business Administration two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography, Business Methods and Economics.
d. For Accounting two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government and Mathematics.
e. For Insurance two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography and Statistics.
(vii) UNN accepts for three (3) year programme Direct Entry candidates to possess any of the following qualifications:
a. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or its equivalent in any of the following subjects: Government, History, Economics, Business Management, Accounting and Geography plus the UTME requirements.
b. ND from recognised institutions in Law, Secretarial studies or its equivalent plus the UTME requirements.
c. HNDlower credit of recognised institutions plus the UTME requirements.
(viii) BIU requires in addition to the ‘O’ Level requirements specified, a minimum of two (2) relevant subjects passed at ‘A’ Level or NCE three (3) merits or NDcredit in relevant programme.
(ix) BOWEN accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes which must include Economics, IJMB/NCE/ND or approved equivalent in a relevant subject(s).
(x) UNIOSUN accepts
a. For Accounting:
‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any one(1) of the following subjects: Geography, Government and Accounting in addition to the UTME requirements. ND lower credit and approved equivalent in relevant programmes may be considered. ICAN ATS Final level and Foundation pass of recognised professional bodies i.e. ICAN, ACCA (London), CIMA (UK), CIBN, CITN and other members of IFAC may be considered.
b. For Business Administration:
‘A’ Level passes in two (2) of the following subjects: Economics, Geography, Business Studies, Government, Accounting and Book-Keeping, in addition to the UTME requirements. ND lower credit and approved equivalents in relevant programmes may be considered.
(xi) CALABAR accepts
a. For Accounting:
(i). CALABAR DBA, ND upper credit in relevant programmes; HND lower credit in the relevant programme
(ii). does not accept IJMB or ‘A’ Level paper or NCE for Direct Entry.
b. For Marketing:
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics or Mathematics, Government and Geography. ND in Business Administration.
(ii) Does not accept IJMB and NCE
c. For Business Management:
(i) ND credit in any Management programme including Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Management, Marketing and Computer science.
(ii) ‘A’ Level passes in any three (3) of Accounting, Business Management, Economic and Mathematics plus ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Commerce or Economics.
(xii) BENIN accepts
a. For Insurance and Actuarial Science:
i. Applicant should possess five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes or equivalent, two (2) of which shall be at the ‘A’ Level or ‘O’ Level credit passes at least three (3) of which shall be at the ‘A’ Level provided that subjects are not counted at both levels of the examination. Credit passes at the ‘O’ Level must include English Language and Mathematics.
ii. ND upper credit in a relevant programme in addition to five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes.
iii. HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes.
iii. Final Certificate of relevant Professional Bodies in addition to five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes.
b. For Marketing:
i.UTME requirements plus two (2) subjects passed at the ‘A’ Level, one(1) of which should be Accounting and the other either Economics or Business Management.
ii. In Exceptional cases the following qualifications may also be considered:
a. UTME requirements plus a complete pass in the intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or of any other equivalent Professional Accounting bodies or
b.UTME requirements plus passes in all parts of the Associateship Examination of the Institute of Bankers.
c. UTME requirements plus NDupper credit in Marketing or any relevant subject from a recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology.
d.UTME requirements plus HND in any relevant programme awarded by a recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology.
e. UTME requirement plus a bachelor’s degree in any programme awarded by a recognised University.
(xii) ABU accepts Two ‘A’ Level / IJMB passes in Management/Social Science Subjects one of which must be Economics. A Minimum Merit in ABU Diploma in Insurance, Management, Banking or Accounting, Computer Science and Mathematics Education.
(xiii) CALABAR accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes, including English Language and Government, a pass in Mathematics, plus two (2) ‘A’ Levelsubjects in the Social Sciences with a minimum of C.
(xiv)KWASU accepts
a. For Accounting IJMB, Cambridge ONLY, ND upper credit in Accounting, HND Accounting (Lower Credit)
b. For Business Administration IJMB, Cambridge ONLY, ND upper credit in Business Administration, HND lower credit in Business Administration.
(xv) PAUL accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government and Geography.
(xvi) BELLS accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in any two (2) of Chemistry, Economics, Geography and Mathematics.
(xvii) EBSU accepts for Public Administration candidates with NCE, ND or HND, the candidates are expected to possess the relevant UTME requirements
(xviii) CRAWFORDaccepts
a. For Marketing:
i. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics or anyone of Business Management, Geography, Accounting Government, Mathematics or Statistics.
ii. NCE – With passes in Accounting, Business Studies or any Social Science

b. For Accountancy:
i. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes including Economics plus anyone of Accounting, Government, Commerce, and Business Management.

i. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and one other Social Science subject.
ii. ND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or Insurance, NCE in Business Studies.
(xxi) AUE:
a. For Accounting accepts ‘A’ Level passes in Economics or Business Management and one other subject, or ND/NCE upper credit in Accounting, Business Management Studies from an approved Polytechnics, College of Technology or College of Education.
b. For Business Administration accepts ‘A’ Level passes in Economics or Business Management and one other subject or ND upper credit in Business Administration from recognised Polytechnics.
(xxii) SALEM requires ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics and any other relevant subjects.
(xxiii)DELSU accepts
a) GCE ‘A’ Level or HSC passes in Accounting or Economics and at least one other subject.
b) ND obtained from approved polytechnics or colleges of technology in Accounting with a grade not lower than Upper Credit.
c) Foundation/Intermediate Exam. Passes of recognized professional bodies as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, ANAN, ACIB, provided the candidates have credits at WAEC, SSCE or GCE O/L in five subjects to include English Language, Mathematics and Economics.
For Business Administration, DELSU requires
a) National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant discipline obtained from an approved and reputable institutions of Higher Learning. Essentially, OND in Comprehensive Business Administration would be given preferences.
b) GCE A/L or HSC in at least two subjects of which one must either be Mathematics or Economics.
(xxiv) RHEMA accepts ND/HND in Accounting plus the UTME requirements.
(xxv) GOUU accepts
a. For Accounting, B.Sc., BA or HND in other programmes, ND upper credit in Accounting, Foundation of ICAN.
b. For Business Administration, two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government. BSc, BA or HND in other programmes, ND upper credit in Business Administration.
c. For Marketing, two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government. BSc, BA or HND in other programmes, ND upper credit in Marketing.
d. For Public Administration: BA, BSc or HND in other programmes, ND upper credit in Public or Business Administration.
(xxvi) UMYUK requires a minimum of nine (9) points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in Economics, Mathematics and any of Social and Management Science subjects. Candidates with ND lower credit in relevant programmes from recognised institutions may also be admitted.
For Public Administration, UMYUK accepts a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in relevant subjects. Candidates with a minimum of a lower credit pass in National Diploma/HND in Public Administration or its equivalent in Management Science subjects from recognized institutions may also be admitted.
(xxvii) RENAISSANCE accepts ND credit from a recognised institution in related programmes like Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Marketing plus the UTME requirements.
(xxviii) CALEB:
a. For Business Administration accepts ND credit level in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or Social Sciences related studies may be considered for admission by Direct Entry provided they have the UTME requirements at one sitting.
b. For Accounting accepts ND credit in Accounting, Banking, Financial Studies or Social Sciences, related studies may be considered for admission by direct entry provided they have the UTME requirements at one sitting.
(xxix) NDU requires
i. Candidates must possess two (2) ‘A’ Level passes which must include Economics or:
ii. ND upper credit in a related programme.
iii. Candidates must satisfy the normal UTME requirements.
(xxx) NILE accepts any two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects, ND/HND lower credit or NCE merit in relevant programmes.
(xxxi) SOUTHWESTERN accepts
a. For Accounting:
i. NCE merit in relevant subjects.
ii. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Accounting or Economics and any other subject.
iii. Foundation of professional examination such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA.
iv. ND/HND lower credit in programmes.
v. ND/HND/ATS of ICAN.
b. For Marketing accepts IJMB/NCE/ND/HND/ATS of ICAN or approved equivalent.
(xxxii) ABUJA for Public Administration accepts two (2) A level passes in Government or History, NCE (minimum 10 points) or ND upper credit in relevant programme in addition to the UTME requirements.
(xxxiii) UMUDIKE requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Accounting and any other subject from Economics, Mathematics, Government. Accepts NCE, ND, HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to UTME requirements.
(xxxiv) PAN-ATLANTIC accepts
a. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in any relevant subjects
b. ND lower credit in relevant programmes.
c. NCE lower credit in relevant programmes.
d. HND lower credit in relevant programmes.
e. International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) in relevant subjects.
(xxxv) UNIKINGS requires:
a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Accounting or Economics and one other subject.
b) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.
c) ND at credit level.
d) Foundation International exam such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, GPFA.
(xxxvi) ODUDUWA accepts NCE merit in relevant subjects.
(xxxvii) CHRISTOPHER requires two (2)’A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Statistics and Geography. Accepts HND, ND or NCE credit in relevant subjects.
(xxxviii) EUI accepts;
a) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes including Economics.
b) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.
c) ND/HND at credit level in a related discipline.
d) Very good passes in JUPEB/IJMB subjects.
(xxix) FED-GASHUA for Public Administration accepts OND/ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit) and NCE Merit and above into 200 Level.
(xl) BAYERO accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes including Government or History.
(xli) UNIHEZ accepts Two (2) A level passes including Economics for Accounting and Business Administration programmes.
(xlii) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other two (2) Subjects.
(xliii) KASU accepts Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and one other relevant subject. Foundation of professional examination such as ICAN, ICCA, ICMA and ANAN.ND/HND Lower Credit in relevant Discipline.NCE at merit level in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics/IJMB 7 points and above in addition to ‘O’ Level requirements. (xlvii) MOUNTAIN TOP – For Business Administration, a candidate is expected to meet the minimum entry requirements into the University as well as possess in Economics and Business Management at the ‘A’ Level/JUPEB obtained from MTUor any other recognized Universities or possession of a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma or its equivalent in Business Studies. Candidates must also pass the screening interview conducted by the University.
For Accounting;
a) In addition to ‘O’ Level requirements, candidates must possess three (3) ‘A’ Level passes in the relevant commercial courses acceptable to the University or Foundation/JUPEB obtained from Mountain Top University or other recognized Universities.
b) Possess OND Lower Credit in relevant courses including Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Banking and other Financial Studies courses.
c) Possess National Certificate of Education, Merit in relevant courses including Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Banking and other Financial Studies courses.
d) Possess Final level pass of ICAN-ATS and Foundation pass of recognized professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA (London), CIMA (UK), CIBN, CITN and others who are members of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
UTME
(i) ILORIN – For Accounting requires Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) other subjects out of the following: financial Accounting/Book Keeping, Commerce, Government, Geography obtained from WAEC, NECO, GCE, IJMB and NABTEB.
(ii) IGBINEDION accepts ‘O’ Level credit pass in Financial Accounting in lieu of Economics.
(iii) AJAYI requires two (2) other subjects from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Geography and Government.
(iv) RENAISSANCE and CUAB accept ‘O’ Level credit pass in Commerce in lieu of Economics.
(v) LAUTECH requires two (2) subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and Geography.
(vi) CUAB:
(a) for Business Administration requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) of the following: Commerce, Geography and Statistics.
(b) For Accounting requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credits passes which include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two (2) social science subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(vii) LASU
(a) Accounting requires other two (2) relevant subjects, it could be from any of Principles of Account, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial duties.
(b) For Public Administration requires ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Government, Economics and any one of Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Studies.
(c) For Business Administration requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics plus any three (3) of Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Government and Geography.
(d) For Insurancerequires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two (2) of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics.
(e) For Marketing, it requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any three (3) of Business Method, Commerce, Book Keeping and Economics.
(viii) COVENANT:
a. For Accounting requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one science subject from the following: Biology, Health/ General Science, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry and either of Geography, Government, Accounting, Book Keeping and Commerce.
b. For Marketing: requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics one of Government or History and any Science subject from Biology, Health/General Science, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry.
(ix) UNIOSUN requires
(a) For Accounting: five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics and Economics to form the core subjects and in any of the following: Geography, Government and Accounting at one sitting.
(b) For Business Administrationfive (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics and Economics to form the core subjects and in any of the following: Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts and Book-keeping at one sitting.
(x) AUN
a. accepts ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.
b. does not accept ‘O’ Level credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
c. accepts ICGSE and ‘A’ Level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to it’s major at the discretion of the Dean of School.

(xxii) WESTERN-DEL for Business Administration requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Accounts, one other Social Science subject and any one other subject of choice.
(xxiii) NDU requires five (5)’O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) other subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xxiv) BELLS requires ‘O’ Level pass in Physics for Business Computing and Information Technology.
(xxv) CALABAR requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.

(xxvii) UNN accepts UTME requirements plus ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Government, or History and Mathematics.
