Requirements

Direct Entry Requirements

Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry/Biology/Botany/Zoology/Agricultural Science plus one of Mathematics/Physics and Geology/ Economics

UTME Requirements

Five (5) SSCE credit passes in Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Geography or Economics.

UTME subjects

Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Physics or Mathematics

Remarks

DIRECT ENTRY

(i) LAUTECH accepts ND with upper credit, HND/NCE at credit level in relevant subjects, plus the UTME requirements

(ii) UNIOSUN same as in Fisheries.

(iii) MAKRUDI accepts;

(a) Two (2) `A’ Level passes in any of Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science/Botany/Zoology or Mathematics, (Pure & Applied) Physics, Geology and Economics

(b) NCE/ND/HND merit/credit in Agriculture.

(iv) TSUJ accepts ND credit in Crop Production Technology plus the UTME requirements.

UTME

(i) ESUTECH accepts ‘O’ Level pass in Physics.

(ii) CRUTECH – Same as Agricultural Economics and Extension

(iii) LAUTECH requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Agricultural Science or Biology.

(v) UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in the SSC or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in addition to an acceptable score in the UTME

(vi) UMUDIKE same as in Agricultural Economics

(vii) MAKURDI requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology or Agriculture Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language, Physics or any other Science subjects. Accepts ‘O’ Level pass in Physics.

(viii) TSUJ requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and one of Physics, Geography or Economics. UTME requirements with ‘O’ Level pass in Physics is acceptable.
