1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup butter softened
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 ripe bananas, mashed
¼ cup whole milk
½ cup dark chocolate chips
Directions (Banana Cake Baking Recipes)
- Sift the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
- Combine the butter, sugars and eggs in a bowl and mix well for 5 minutes.
- Add the mashed bananas and milk then fold in the flour, followed by the chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter in a round cake pan lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and well risen.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
