½ teaspoon ground cloves

6 eggs, room temperature
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup whole milk
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ cup butter, melted
1 pinch salt

- Add the milk then fold in the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually stir in the melted butter then pour the batter in a 9-inch cake pan lined with baking paper.
