Pay close attention to all you see and read
For we all are bound to never wake from this dream
To wake is to leave, to leave is to die
This dream is reality, the reality of every life
The love of money is the root of all evil;
since we are all born evil, can we then say the love of money is life?
Money, they say makes the world go round
To control, just be a giver of many kinds of bribes
With it, you can get your fingers on every pie
The future is purchased with the present
If we are the future of tomorrow, is the present a present?
Hunger changes water into wine, stone into bread
Reasons the rich purchases the future with a present
Some say the stories are better than the trophies, what about a story of trophies?
Of waking up on the moon and being on Forbes list?
Of ruling or dining before kings and queens?
Money makes a right living, not the religious right living
In a storm, pray to God but struggle for life
One who cannot work should not dine
In a promised land, some have died of hunger
God will provide, we must provide till He does provide
I give no command, neither am I a preacher
Choose your path on how you make cash
Some paths lead to destruction, others give life
