1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
½ teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, melted
1 ½ cups light brown sugar
4 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
2 pears, peeled, cored and diced

- Mix the flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
- In a different bowl, combine the butter, sugar, eggs and buttermilk and mix well. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients then fold in the pears.
- Spoon the batter in a Bundt cake pan greased with butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 350F for 35-40 minutes or until golden and well risen.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.
