When your Waec, Neco, or GCE Result hasn’t been released or isn’t available during Jamb registration, you can indicate that you don’t have O level result yet. In this case, you’re using awaiting result.
You are free to use awaiting result for Jamb and Post UTME. However, you need to upload the results to Jamb Portal immediately Waec releases results or Neco activates result checker.
One of the main reasons jamb candidates using jamb awaiting results get scared is because of publications sometimes made by top magazines and websites stating that Jamb has scraped awaiting result. Some even post that Jamb won’t admit you if you are using awaiting result. These are all lies.

Release of Awaiting O Level Results
Waec announced earlier that results for Waec will be out within 45 days after the exam. I believe this is pretty good news for you. Your results shall be released early and will be available when required for uploading and before your school starts giving admission. Using awaiting result doesn’t affect your chance of admission in any way.
Those with awaiting results can register Jamb. Don’t listen to anybody or any other news. Feel free to register and upload your result to Jamb portal when it is released. I wish you good luck.
